Update 5/15/25: Patriot and Mark continue to be an amazing advocate for us. Unbeknownst to me Mark was shopping our insurance for our primary home and through his research he was able to save us $2,400/year by moving us to a new insurance company. Another example of the advantage of working with an independent broker that can shop your plan with multiple companies. If you're in the market for a new insurance agent I would highly recommend giving Mark a call!

Mark is very customer focused and goes above and beyond if something happens. We've been very happy with Patriot Insurance since moving our business over a few years ago and would highly recommend them.

When my auto insurance with Marc went up because I had a claim for hail damage he found another company and quoted me a lower rate. I paid a full years rate in December and six months later that company back billed me for more money. Mark a mistake and quoted me a lower rate than he should’ve and

stuck me with a bill for more than he quoted. I may have gone with another company that was lower than the one Mark found for me. I don’t think he is very professional and I don’t see why I should pay for his mistakes. I canceled all my insurance with him.

About Patriot Insurance

Hi, I'm Mark Gilbertson from Patriot Insurance. I'd like to take a moment to tell you a little bit about myself.

Like many insurance agents, I started my career working for a larger insurance agency. Life was good, but I knew it could be better. After a few years, it became apparent that "my way" and the "corporate way" had too many differences. While I wanted to connect to my customers and get to know them better, I was told to keep my focus on the next prospect.

An Independent Insurance Agency

To best serve my customers, I chose to become an independent insurance agent and start Patriot Insurance. As an independent insurance agent, I represent several insurance companies, but am not beholden to any one of them. Instead, I'm held accountable by my customers, I work for them.

Friendly & Accountable

I think it's the little things that set us apart from other insurance agencies. As an example, I personally answer the phone both during and after regular business hours. If you leave me a voicemail, I'll return it promptly - every time. Whether you have a question about your bill, or you have a possible claim, I will be there to help. I find that people like that simple way of doing business.

Convenient & Flexible

I would appreciate an opportunity to earn your business. Simply request an appointment and we'll get together at a time and a place that's convenient for you. I'll take the time to listen to your needs, answer your questions, and give you a quote that I'm confident you'll like.
